WENTY LEAGUES INVEST IN NEW TECH TO HELP LOCAL REFEREES

In a highly competitive rugby league match, a lot of onus is put on the referees to make the right call. With such an important role it’s essential for referees to have the equipment to be able to do this otherwise things can get controversial.

Earlier this year Wenty Leagues provided support to the Parramatta Referees Association by donating $12,000 to help implement better communication methods for referees to talk to one another during games. The new technology was introduced this season and according to Referee Robert Morey, “the radio equipment really makes our job easier.

It’s great to have similar technology as first grade available because it adds to the quality of the game. We really appreciate Wenty’s ongoing support.”

As one of the premier hospitality destinations in Western Sydney, Wenty Leagues has strived to continually find opportunities to assist and promote service and development needs that make a difference in the local community.

The referees are always looking for new people to join them. If you are interested please visit their website www.parramattarefs.com for more information.
