Wenty Leagues is teaming up with Parramatta Eels legends Nathan Hindmarsh and Nathan Cayless to help inspire the local community to donate gently used or new sports equipment during the Do Something Day campaign which will run from now until Wednesday 25 July.

Do Something Day is an initiative to recognise & encourage the extraordinary contributions made by everyday Australians. To contribute to this campaign Wenty Leagues have placed a special donation box in the foyer that they aim to fill up with sporting equipment which will be donated to Youth Off the Streets, Wentworthville to create a positive impact on the lives of young people in the community. Gold coin donations can also be made at Reception. So far there has been a great response from all, and in particular the Wenty Leagues Golf Club who recently made a large contribution of golf equipment.

To commemorate the initiative on Wednesday 25 July, Wenty Leagues will officially present the sports equipment to Youth Off the Streets, Wentworthville with special guests Nathan Hindmarsh & Nathan Cayless in attendance. Nathan Hindmarsh is the official Do Something Day ambassador.

As part of the fun the players will also take part in and exhibition darts match against Wenty Leagues’ CEO, Glenn Kovacs and Youth Off the Streets Program Manager, Josh Te Tai. After the match the players will be available to sign autographs for the kids in the Magpie Overflow Area from 3.30pm.

“Whether it be a ball or pair of footy boots, I encourage everyone to go above and beyond during Do Something Day and give their best through acts of kindness. A little bit can go a long way.” Glenn Kovacs, Wenty Leagues CEO.
