Feb/March Journal Article:

15/11/09 FCA trip:
We fished Kiama in 65 fathoms of water, the weatherwas windy in the morning but became better as theday went on. Again, we bagged out on leatherjacketswith 163 caught, we also managed 10 flatheads and 2merwong. The biggest bag was caught By A.Zammitwith 131.23 points and the biggest fish was a 1.43kgleather jacket caught by A.Debattista

28/11/09 club trip:
The weather was good and we again went out to the65 fathom mark at Kiama. There were only 6 on theboat with an impressive catch of 94 leather jackets, 27flatheads and 1 merwong. The biggest fish of the daywas a 1.55kg flathead caught by A.Zammit. M.Prestipinocaught the biggest bag of 188.1 points, which was alsothe biggest bag of the year.

13/12/09 club trip:
This was our final trip of the year. We fished in closeand caught a variety of reef fish with 33 merwong, 2snapper, 13 leatherjackets, 1 flathead, 8 pigfish and 1kingfish. The biggest bag was caught by B.Mortel with10.05kgs, while S.Gaberial caught the biggest fish ofthe day and of the year with a 2.045kg kingfishI would like to thank all the Committee members andmembers for contributing to our Fishing club andmaking it a very enjoyable experience. Last but notleast, I would like to thank Rodney from Kiama chartersfor making our trips memorable and safe.
