Ronald McDonald House Initiative
by Luke Fuller | Dec 20,2018The Ronald McDonald House in Westmead lends a helping hand to families with seriously ill children in times of hardship by delivering emotional support, assistance and above all, providing a sense of togetherness.
Unfortunately, illness discriminates against nobody and that is why Wenty Leagues has reached out to Ronald McDonald House Westmead this festive season through the Giving Tree Christmas Initiative. The response was astounding and it goes to show how generous and compassionate our members are.
On the 18th of December the community room at Ronald McDonald House Westmead was transformed into a festive and joyous Christmas Cave. All donated gifts were placed around the room and residents were given the opportunity to select a gift or two to assist in celebrations on Christmas Day.
