Wenty Leagues is great supporter of CareFlight and with many years of

continued support through the CDSE funding program, many changes

have occurred at the CareFlight base at Westmead.

On Friday 16 November 2012, Director Trevor Simpson visited the base

to see the upgrades CareFlight have made using grants and donations.

With the help of grants, CareFlight have upgraded their:

– Helicopter rescue simulator to provide a high-fidelity training

environment of patient treatment during transit,

– Car crash rescue simulator complete with sophisticated manikins

to be used during training to simulate a motor vehicle accident, and

– MediSim, a state-of-the-art medical simulator that travels around

regional and rural Australia taking vital trauma care training to local

emergency services volunteers and regional health professionals.

CareFlight undertake invaluable and vital work throughout Australia

and this can only be done with the help of volunteers and donations.
