Adam Gardiner Foundation Race Day

by Luke Fuller | Dec 17,2012

Wenty Leagues recently contributed $2,000 to the Adam Gardiner

Foundation with proceeds going to the Amyloidosis Clinic at

Westmead Hospital.

Adam Gardiner was a rugby league trainer for Balmain and eventually

moved to the Wenty Magpies before suffering from the terminal illness

that ultimately took his life at age 35.

Amyloidosis is a condition where amyloid proteins are abnormally

deposited in organs or tissues and cause harm.

The Adam Gardiner Foundation hopes the money raised from its race

day on Saturday 3 November will help find a cure for amyloidosis.
